History
PT. Trada Bina Saranatirta was established to provide underwater work services. PT.TBS passion for the underwater work profession started with maritime projects both abroad and domestically. Our company is affiliated with PT.Timur Bahari Indonesia. That company is a business partner of East Marine Singapore. Our company group is recognized as the best in the Southeast Asia region. Our divers and engineering teams who support the construction, dredging, reclamation activities have greatly contributed to the success of these projects.
Maritime projects in the Africa, Middle East, Southeast Asia Region, especially reclamation projects in Dubai, South Africa, Singapore, Myanmar and of course in Indonesia are footprints and traces of project success undertaken by East Marine and PT. Timur Bahari. The implementation and success of these projects is supported by a team of divers and engineers that will form and strengthen PT. TBS.
The enthusiasm to form a company specializing in diving got a good moment when PT. Timur Bahari won the trust to work on the installation of the SWI pipe for the Batang PLTU, the SWI pipe at the Jepara PLTU, and the construction of the installation of a wave breakwater tetrapod at Patimban Port, West Java. During August 2018 period, coinciding with the start of the Tanjung Jati 5 & 6 Jepara PLTU project, PT.TBS was established. PT. TBS was founded with the spirit of providing best lesson learn under water construction work in the on/near shore zone which has become a repository of knowledge for quite a long time. PT. TBS is a company that will proudly manage this knowledge into services and works in the field of underwater work in Indonesia.

Quality Management
PT.TBS is a growing company, we intend from the beginning to build a good reputation in the business. Clients must be ensured to receive the highest quality service. We will realize this in the highest quality service, starting from the initial project planning to day-to-day implementation.
We were to be certified to ISO-9001 in 2018. Since then, we have maintained and continuously improved our quality management system, with the most recent recertification to ISO-9001:2015 completed in 2022. ISO 9001 certification is an independent third-party validation that PT.TBS has well-established quality management that can be audited and processed to continuously improve service delivery to clients.
The ISO-9001 standard forms the basis of the PT.TBS Quality Management Plan. The Quality Management System guides and provides PT.TBS staff with procedures for carrying out business operations and detailed instructions for field activities. PT.TBS's internationally recognized quality management system is applied to all PT.TBS business activities and ensures that our activities and services meet the appropriate quality standards..
The success of this system has been demonstrated in large and complex projects such as the construction of Patimban Port, Tanjung Jati Coal Fired Power Plant Units 5&6, Batang Power Plant. where PT.TBS has received several awards from main contractors and clients.
Safety and Health
PT.TBS's priority is work safety, we will maintain this reputation and become the company's image. PT.TBS and its staff set standards for a safe and healthy work environment, both in the office and in the field. The aim of PT.TBS is to maintain a high level of safety and health performance starting from planning to implementation of all projects and activities, where accidents can be prevented and avoided.
We started operating independently starting in 2018, PT.TBS has maintained a good record of safety and health, and always improves the standards set by the government and industry. Our SHE program aims at continuous improvement with the goal of maintaining zero safety or health incidents reported annually.
Our Occupational Health and Safety Management Program has successfully passed an audit using the OHSAS standard Recognition Certificate, and we are currently preparing an HSE management quality system complying with ISO 45,001 which is in the process of being audited. Drawing on our demands for subsequent OHSAS and ISO 45001 standards and audits, we are firmly committed to enhancing the safety and wellbeing of our team, our clients, and our partners. PT.TBS also runs and conducts audits with other third party providers who regularly verify high standards for project mechanisms, working equipment for specific clients. Our company also obeys and complies with the applicable SMK3 in Indonesia.
Environment Policy
Since PT.TBS was founded in 2018, environmental protection has become the cornerstone of our business and corporate culture. We are committed to being a company that mainstreams business practices that minimize the project's impact on the environment and support clients' nature and environmental protection initiatives. Our Environmental Policy covers the following objectives:
- Comply with environmental laws and regulations and that our activities meet the requirements of all applicable Indonesian environmental laws related to our work;
- Promote environmental awareness, responsibility and best practices, and support a culture of environmental sustainability through in-house training, education and active initiatives for staff and partners.
- We use materials and methods that minimize environmental risks, reduce waste according to the principles of reduce, reuse, recycle, and handle and dispose of waste in a safe and environmentally responsible manner;
- Running operations in office buildings designed according to environmental initiatives for sustainability and saving electricity and natural resources.
- Support clients' environmental initiatives and encourage adoption of sustainable environmental practices;

Whistle Blowing Policy
In implementing and improving the quality of good corporate governance based on transparency, accountability, responsibility and fairness. PT. TBS builds complaint channels both internal and external channels. We will maintain and keep the identity of the reporter confidential (the reporter can convey or not convey his identity). All information submitted will be verified and processed according to the SOP that we built.
Provide a report if you find violations/allegations of violations related to PT.TBS activities carried out both within the company, internal partners, or between PT.TBS and partners. The scope of reporting is:
- Corruption, embezzlement of assets, theft
- Collusion / gratification
- Nepotism
- Fraud that includes misappropriation of funds and assets, and the omission of violations
- Violations of the code of ethics include conflicts of interest
- Acts violating PT.TBS internal regulations, partners, or cooperation agreements.
